ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ann is a professional International Award Winning artist and tutor, living and working from her studio in Staffordshire. Her paintings carry both the calm and the vibrant sides of her personality.
 
Ann showed artistic integrity even in her early years, however her parents insited that she established a backup career, so she trained and qualified as a Graphic Design Engineer, working within Design Consultancies and the Motor Sports Industry.
Whilst raising her family, she would paint in her spare time, exhibiting collectively and alone. She also studied privately with her contemporaries in oil, pastel and mixed media.
Her success and love of the creative process, led to a decision to paint full time.
 
Ann is totally dedicated to her first love of painting. She also teaches privately and holds lectures relating to the Work of the Old Masters when time permits. In the past she has given presentations to Universities and Public Institutions around the UK.
 
She is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society and a Member of the National Watercolour Society.


Ann studied Modern and Contemporary Art with The Tate, London, qualified for Public Speaking via the English Speaking Board and holds a FAETC (Dist.). She also runs her own Fine Art Tuition Companies,
Artmoves (UK) Limited and Quiet Creatives Limited.
